The Eternal Stan Smith, created by Horst Dassler in 1965, was once known as Robert Hilett. Looking for a stronger US presence for the adidas brand, he turned to tennis pro Smith for support. Both tennis stars shared a model with Smith's face on the tongue of the shoe and Haye's autograph on the side until 1978. Launching in March 2019, this minimalist model features a black leather upper with a contrasting white leather counter, branded tongue, and Trefoil logo on the side. The sneakers also have a padded heel, durable toe and snow-white rubber outsole.
