Description

Created as part of the Jordan Wings Design Program, the Air Jordan 1 Mid Wings GS 'NYC Subway' pays tribute to the hardworking employees of the MTA, North America's largest public transportation system. The upper of the sneakers is made of water-resistant leather in a neutral gray color. Reflective details adorn the Swoosh and tongue, which features Nike's train line design. A woven tag reads "Don't Lean Against Doors" on the side collar, while "WINGS" is written on the back heel in a multicolor pattern, referencing New York City's various train lines. "Always Go Forward" is printed on the side toe and "Thank You For All You Do" is printed on the inner tongue. Multicolor speckles reminiscent of subway station floors and trains cover the midsole, while the outsole is reinforced with gray rubber.
