The 2023 release of the Air Jordan 2 Retro "Chicago" brings back the legacy silhouette in its original 1986 form. A radical departure in design from its predecessors, the shoe ditched the Nike Swoosh logo and added the Jordan 'Wings' logo to the tongue. Black laces secure the white leather upper with sleek lines, perforated detailing and a faux lizard skin overlay inspired by luxury footwear. A crimson heel counter adds a pop of contrast while Nike branding adorns the rear collar. The traditional outsole is replaced by a black polyurethane midsole with Air-sole cushioning.
