Inspired by the importance of communication and community, the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 2002R "Conversations Amongst Us" is designed in collaboration with the New Balance employee community called Black Soles, which aims to increase representation in the footwear industry . The sneaker's cream-colored upper is constructed from a combination of ripstop, suede, leather, and translucent TPU. A silver "N" logo adorns the quarter, while "Conversations Amongst Us" is embossed on the heel on the left and right side of the shoe. Lightweight cushioning is provided by the ABZORB midsole, which is supported by an amber translucent rubber outsole.
