More than ten years have passed and now the long-awaited Nike Air Max Penny 1 "Orlando" will be released in 2023. Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway's first signature sneaker, which hasn't seen an update since 2011, is welcome news for Orlando Magic fans and sneakerheads alike. Originally debuting during the '95-96 NBA season, the Air Max Penny 1 featured Air Max in the heel and then-new Tensile Air cushioning in the forefoot, better known today as Zoom Air. Designed by Eric Avar, the sneaker also featured a "half bootie" construction adorned with a Swoosh and the iconic Penny logo on the heel.
