Inspired by Nike's early history, the Air Max Plus 'Script Swoosh' was released on August 10, 2019 along with three other iconic sneakers to celebrate the birth of the world-famous logo. In 1971, Portland design student Caroline Davidson began working with Phil Knight and his shoe company, Blue Ribbon Sports. To brand a new line of shoes he designed, he asked her to create a new logo for him, and the draft, which she sold him for $35, is prominently displayed on the side of this unique shoe.
