The 2023 Nike LeBron 9 "Watch the Throne" features a limited-edition colorway of LeBron James' ninth signature sneaker. Created for the NBA star and several of his close friends and colleagues, the sneakers are named after the 2011 album by Jay-Z and Kanye West. Metallic gold Swooshes shine atop a black Hyperfuse upper, reinforced with internal Flywire cables and textile fenders reminiscent of carbon fiber. A lush multi-color print is applied to the inner lining and laces, which are partially hidden by ornate gold-plated lace embellishments. Matching hits of gold adorn the black Phylon midsole, which features Zoom Air cushioning in the forefoot and a 180-degree Max Air unit in the heel.
