The model was originally created by Toshikazu Kayano in the late 1980s? as his first design project at ASICS. The layered white leather construction on the upper is also complemented by blue florals. The shock absorption system has been updated with FF BLAST technology. It features a sculpted heel for added comfort. The sole pattern replicates the view of the city from the sky. The designer was inspired by his first business trip to the USA in 1987 to create this functional feature of the sole.
