P.E Nation reimagines the iconic ASICS EX89™ MT sneaker with classic tennis inspiration. The sneaker features a textured mesh lining, dual laces, signature P.E color blocking, and large ASICS stripes on the ghost overlay. The EX89 takes inspiration from the 1989 GEL-EXTREME basketball shoe. It was originally created by Toshikazu Kayano in the late 1980s as his first design project at ASICS. The original high-top sneaker design has been reimagined with a mid-cut fit and a color palette reminiscent of a distressed vintage look. Updated cushioning includes FF BLAST technology, which combines with a sculpted heel for enhanced comfort during everyday walking.
